Below are detailed instructions for submitting the CA State Security Guard Application by Mail:

1. Log into your account on the TwoProtect Training Institute website: Login Page
2. Go to the My Courses page.
3. Click on the link that says Print Signed BSIS Guard Card App.
   
   
4. Fill out the first page of the application down through section #8. You do not have to fill out the Employer section that starts at #9. And unless you are a current Peace Officer, you don't need to fill out that section either.
   
   Important:  Please make certain to write clearly. If the application filled out clearly, the state will not process it.
   
   
5. On the second page, we've already entered all of the standard training information, however you still need to enter the serial number from your 8-hour guard card course (Power to Arrest) certificate.
   
   
   
6. Once you have completed filling out the application, mail it in to the BSIS at the address listed on the top of page 1 along with a $55 check made out the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), and a copy of your completed fingerprint form.
